What Smart Video can create

  • Long-form landscape or vertical videos from a topic or source brief
  • JoggAI voiceovers and selected talking-avatar scenes
  • B-roll sequences with subtitles and background music
  • HTML motion graphics and data-driven charts
  • Editable local projects and final MP4 files
You can choose where talking avatars appear, including opening only, opening and closing, every scene, or nowhere. The final project remains editable, so you can change narration, media, captions, timing, volume, and layout before export.

How it works

Describe the video

Give Codex the subject, target length, language, aspect ratio, and any avatar or style preferences.

Choose media services

Smart Video opens a verified local Settings page. Connect JoggAI for cloud voices and avatars, or explicitly choose Local Media for supported on-device TTS and ASR.

Review the production plan

Codex plans the narration, shot strategy, B-roll, motion graphics, and timeline before submitting generation work.

Edit and render

Open the local editor to review or adjust the result, then ask Codex to render the final MP4.

Smart Video runs in the Codex desktop app because it needs access to a local editor, workspace, and renderer. A browser-only Codex session cannot install or run the desktop plugin on your machine.
